Professional Concentrate for Cleaning, Rust Removal & Metal Passivation

AS-METALPASS-1 is a biodegradable, medium-acid ultrasonic concentrate with a pH of 1.6. Supplied in a 1 L bottle, it is designed for degreasing, rust removal, calcium carbonate removal, and stainless steel passivation. Suitable for use in ultrasonic cleaners, it provides effective cleaning and protection of steel, aluminum, copper, brass, and non-ferrous alloys.

Removes Impurities Such As:

• Mineral greases and oils
• Polishing paste residues
• Oxide layers and rust
• Calcium carbonate deposits

Safe to Use On:

• Cleaning: stainless steel, light and non-ferrous metals, aluminum, copper, brass, prochrome, glass, plastics.
• Passivation: stainless steel, aluminum, chromium-containing alloys.

AS-METALPASS-1 Dosage

• Ultrasonic cleaning: dilute to 2% (20 mL per 1 L water; 1 L per 50 L water). Increase up to 5% for heavy contamination. Working temperature: 30–80 °C.
• Passivation: dilute to 10% (100 mL per 1 L water; 1 L per 10 L water). Working temperature: 30–80 °C, time 10–30 minutes. Example: AISI 316 stainless steel requires 20 min at 70 °C.

Cleaning Process Description

Carefully place the basket with items in an ultrasonic cleaner. Fill the tank with distilled water and the required amount of AS-METALPASS. Fully submerge items in solution. Heat liquid to the recommended temperature and set the ultrasonic timer based on contamination level. After cleaning or passivation, allow solution to cool before removing items.
