Professional Concentrate for Cleaning, Rust Removal & Metal Passivation

AS-METALPASS-5 is a biodegradable medium-acid ultrasonic concentrate (pH 1.6) supplied in a 5 L canister. Designed for degreasing, rust removal, calcium carbonate removal, and stainless steel passivation, it delivers powerful results in ultrasonic cleaners. Ideal for workshops, industrial maintenance, and facilities requiring frequent cleaning and passivation.

Removes Impurities Such As:

• Mineral greases and oils
• Polishing paste residues
• Oxide layers and rust
• Calcium carbonate deposits

Safe to Use On:

• Cleaning: stainless steel, aluminum, copper, brass, non-ferrous alloys, prochrome, glass, plastics.
• Passivation: stainless steel, aluminum, and chromium-containing alloys.

AS-METALPASS-5 Dosage

• Ultrasonic cleaning: dilute to 2% (20 mL per 1 L water; 1 L per 50 L water). Up to 5% for heavy contamination. Working temperature: 30–80 °C.
• Passivation: dilute to 10% (100 mL per 1 L water; 1 L per 10 L water). Temperature: 30–80 °C, time 10–30 min. For AISI 316 steel: 20 min at 70 °C recommended.

Cleaning Process Description

Place basket with items in ultrasonic cleaner. Fill tank with distilled water and correct amount of AS-METALPASS. Submerge items fully. Heat bath to desired temperature, then set ultrasonic timer based on soil level. After cycle, cool solution and carefully remove items. Rinse thoroughly with clean water. Replace bath when dirty.
